General terms and conditions for our web shop

General terms and conditions of sale, delivery and payment for the web shop, located in Breda and registered under the name of our foundation: Stichting Van Klooster tot Emmaus, registration number 63616246 at KvK Breda. KvK, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, is the official and independent Dutch administrative body for businesses.

2.1 These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter: Terms and Conditions) apply to all offers, orders and agreements made using the website.

2.3 The provisions of these Terms and Conditions can only be deviated from in writing on our part. If a part of these terms and conditions is deviated from in writing, the other provisions will remain valid.

5.1 After placing an order, the customer will receive a confirmation by e-mail stating the total costs, including shipping and packaging costs.

Article 6. Payments

6.1 Payments are made entirely in advance.

6.2 Payments are processed by Mollie B.V., a recognized company that arranges the payment systems for many web shops. For, we have enabled the following payment methods: iDeal, payments with credit cards, and PayPal.

6.3 Shipping costs are based on the rates of PostNL plus packaging costs.

6.4 Payment must be made without discount or compensation unless there has been agreed upon discounts in writing.

6.5 The customer gives permission to perform all actions necessary for payment.

6.6 When paying, we consider the date of crediting the bank account of as the date of payment.

Article 7. Delivery

7.1 strives to offer orders for shipment within three (3) working days after receipt of payment, but no rights can be derived from this.

7.2 The final delivery period is thirty (30) days after receipt of payment, except for situations where the delay cannot be attributed to, for example in the event of a discontinuation of the delivery services.

Article 8. Retention of property

8.1 remains the owner of the bags after payment until they are accepted at the delivery address.

8.2 Ownership of delivered products is transferred to the customer at the time of acceptance of the delivery at the delivery address

8.4 The ownership of the delivery reverts back to in the moment the payment is canceled in one way or another. The customer is then obliged to keep the delivery in good condition and to return it by post. The delivery must be received within ten (10) working days after the moment of cancellation of payment at the address stated on the return form. The expenses made to return are for the customer.

Article 9. Cancellation of orders before shipment

9.1 Provided an order is not yet shipped, the order can be canceled without penalty and without providing an explanation for the cancellation.

Article 10. Cancellation of orders after delivery

General information

We do everything we can to inform you clearly about the products on our website. However, if a product does not meet your expectations when you have received it, the purchase can be canceled and the order may be returned. The customer is then entitled to a refund of amount received by us, providing that the conditions for cancellation are met.

Legal regulation: In accordance with the laws for distance selling (selling products online), the customer has the right to (partially) cancel the order within seven (7) working days after receipt, without penalty and without giving reasons for the cancellation.

10.1 The customer must complete the return form on our website within ten (10) working days of receipt at the delivery address, and send it by email to

10.2 The items must still be in their original state of shipment, with attached labels and in original packaging.

10.3 The packaging must be closed or reclosed in such a way that damage to the articles is prevented during shipping.

10.4 The articles must be received within ten (10) working days after our receipt of the return form, at the address stated on the return form.

10.5 The shipping costs for returning the items are for the account of the customer.

10.6 only accepts returns that have been registered in the manner described above and for which these conditions and further instructions have been followed.

10.7 Returns that have not been reported or offered within the stipulated time period will not be accepted.

10.8 No later than 14 days after our receipt of the returned item, the customer will receive a refund of the payment received by, to the bank account of origin.

Article 11. Force majeure

11.1 In the event of force majeure, has the right, at its own discretion, to suspend the execution of a customer’s order, or to dissolve the agreement without judicial intervention. This will be communicated to the customer in writing, sent to the e-mail address provided with placing the order. In this event is not obliged to pay any compensation.

Article 12. Applicable law and competent court

12.1 All rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these Conditions apply, including these Conditions, are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

12.2 If one or more articles of these terms and conditions are declared invalid by a court decision: – the rest of the provisions of these general terms and conditions will remain valid, – and the client will go into consultation to agree on new provisions to replace the invalid ones, or to agree on the nullified provisions, taking into account the purpose and purport of the invalid or nullified provisions.

12.3 All disputes between parties will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the Netherlands.
